Many girls lose their virginity in high school, more lose it
in college. As a girl grows up she
learns her bases, first base kissing, second base caressing, third base oral
sex, and home is going “all the way”.
But going to college is a whole new ball game. Losing your virginity in college can go many ways.
The first girl might say that she has waited
long enough and college is the perfect opportunity for her to spread her legs
and fly.
The second girl may
go a different route. We cannot dismiss
the fact that sometimes alcohol is a girl’s best friend. Chocolate, diamonds, flowers, let’s be
real. Alcohol reduces your inhibitions
and for most girls provides a sense of freedom.
“One night, we got drunk, and…” That is the beginning of most weekend
stories. And that is okay, because you are only in college once. If you happen on a random hookup, even if it
means cashing in that v-card, do it with pride because you’re not the first, or
the last to do so.
And the girl that we would all love to be, the one that has
had a meaningful relationship without having sex, and finally mature enough now
that she is on her own in college. On a
romantic weekend get away with champagne and strawberries as an appetizer and a
hot tub for dessert, the main course is as delicious as you always thought it
would be.
Of course there are other scenarios in which a girl can lose
her virginity but these are the ways I’ve seen in happen. Some might say that the first step to being
in love is making love, while others say that having sex too early in a
relationship or too late can ruin everything.
In college, sometimes sex can be equivalent to a handshake. Sometimes it means there is something raw and
real. It is the college girls’ journey to
look through what is true, to make mistakes, and sometimes get hurt, all in
search of love.
